Bolton becomes part of Place North MIPIM delegation
The regeneration-focused council is attending the 2025 edition of the property expo to put the borough and its growing pipeline of projects on the global stage.
Bolton Council joins other Greater Manchester local authorities Salford City Council, Wigan Council, and Trafford Council as part of Place North’s MIPIM delegation for 2025.

The authority is leading and facilitating various town centre regeneration projects including Placefirst’s 164-home build-to-rent scheme Deansgate Gardens, the mixed-use redevelopment of Church Wharf, and – perhaps most exciting of all – the comprehensive overhaul of Crompton Place Shopping Centre.
At MIPIM, Bolton Council hopes to double down on its reputation as one of Greater Manchester’s most investible boroughs and has partnered with Place North to do so.
“Greater Manchester’s towns are going through a renaissance and Bolton is at the forefront of that drive,” said Dino Moutsopoulos, managing partner at Place North.
“The council has an enviable pipeline of projects and is heading to MIPIM to search for investment and partnerships to help unlock them.
“Bolton’s decision to join Place North’s delegation is further proof that local authorities value us as a key partner to help them showcase their areas and put them in the room with the right people.”
Place North’s MIPIM delegation is growing weekly and includes a mixture of local authorities, policy leaders, investors, engineers, solicitors, architects, and more. You can see the list of partners below.
