Blackpool Council has appointed several contractors to a framework for refurbishment work on behalf of Blackpool Coastal Housing.
The potential value of the framework was not disclosed. The contractors named on the roster this week were:
Central heating
- Read & Errington, Blackpool
- Forrest, Preston
- Bramall Construction, Salford
External works
- Forrest, Preston
- Kier Support Services, Sheffield
- Bramall Construction, Salford
Conversions
- Forrest, Preston
- Kier Support Services, Sheffield
- Bullock Construction, Altrincham
Additional lots for kitchens and bathrooms and electrical rewire were not appointed.
Blackpool Coastal Housing was established in 2007 as an arm's length management organisation by Blackpool Council to manage and maintain the council's 5,500 properties.
