Bardsley lands £7m Alder Grange contract

Bardsley Construction will build a new post-16 college for Alder Grange Community and Technology School in Rawtenstall, Lancashire.

Bardlsey, based in Dukinfield, east Manchester, said just over half of the work will be subbed out to other contractors. The company counts education as one of its main sectors, having done work for colleges and schools in Rochdale, Blackburn and Blackpool.

Planning permission was granted for the new school on 9 November. Work will start next month with completion by the end of 2010.
