Baltic Triangle site for sale after talks aborted

Edward Symmons has brought a development site in the Baltic Triangle area of Liverpool city centre back to market after negotiations over its sale fell through.

The cleared 0.35-acre site between St James Street, Jamaica Street, Blundell Street and Kitchen Street has consent for 60 apartments in blocks up to seven storeys. There is also consent for parking and ground floor commercial space.

Edward Symmons first tried to sell the site at the end of last year after the original developer went into receivership. Offers in the region of £700,000 are invited for the plot, down from £750,000 last year.

Part of the site is held freehold with the remaining part on a 125-year lease from 2 March 2006.
