Atos signs at Deva
IT services giant Atos has agreed a lease on two units at Highcross' Deva City Office Park in Salford.
Atos took a total of 8,485 sq ft, which will be used as premises to assess disability benefit claimants.
The letting followed Stephensons Solicitors' announcement earlier this month that it was to relocate to the site with a six year lease on 4,853 sq ft.
This brings the total amount of space let in the year to date on the park to more than 21,000 sq ft across six lettings. Quoting rental levels are £15/sq ft.
Deva City Office Park is situated next to Trinity Way with access to Manchester city centre and Salford Quays.
CBRE is joint letting agent on the site with Canning O'Neill and Edwards & Co.
Iain Taylor, associate director of Highcross, said: "These six lettings have built strongly on the five lettings achieved in 2013 which together have increased occupancy levels across the park from 51% to 77%."
Jamie Bottomley, surveyor at CBRE, said: "These two significant transactions have maintained the impressive momentum built up at Deva City Office Park over the last 18 months and are a testament to the exceptional quality of the scheme and the improvements implemented by Highcross. Interest in the remaining units remains high."
