Alvarez & Marsal next to take space at M&G’s Lincoln

The global management consultancy has followed flexible workspace provider Cubo into the Manchester office building, signing a 10-year lease on 14,000 sq ft.

Alvarez & Marsal’s arrival leaves around 66,000 sq ft available in the 100,000 sq ft Lincoln after fast-growing Cubo snapped up 30,000 sq ft on a 12.5-year lease in July to end M&G’s two-year wait for a tenant.

A&M has offices around the world including Australia, China, and Brazil, as well as 28 in the USA.

The firm’s six UK offices are located in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Manchester. In Manchester, A&M will relocate from The Chancery, where it has been based since 2018, to the Lincoln.

Aaron Pope, director of asset management at M&G Real Estate, said: “This letting to Alvarez & Marsal demonstrates the continued demand for best-in-class workspaces from international businesses looking to expand their presence in the UK.

“The Lincoln supports our strategy of delivering much-needed Grade A office spaces in prime locations, with exceptional green and wellbeing credentials, which attract leading occupiers and enables us the potential to deliver compelling returns for our investors.”

Designed by Jon Matthews Architects and located off Brazennose Street on the site of the former Brazennose House, The Lincoln is BREEAM Excellent and has extensive occupier amenities, including a large gym in the basement and a roof terrace.
