Altrincham school plans £6m new-build

Project manager Turner & Townsend is advising Blessed Thomas Holford Catholic College in Altrincham on its plans for a new sixth form centre.
The school, on Urban Road, is seeking contractors to build a standalone 29,000 sq ft centre on its existing site and plans to stay in use in the current building during construction.
A 10-month build period is envisaged from the award of the contract. Angus Hughes in Turner & Townsend's Salford Quays office is handling the project.
The deadline for receipt of tenders is 1 March.
