Westchurch lodges plans for 100% affordable scheme in Liverpool

A three-acre site off Vauxhall Road is the subject of plans for 67 homes.

Westchurch Homes has tabled an application to build 47 houses and 20 apartments on the site, which already has consent for 39 houses and 29 flats.

Earlier plans for the residential redevelopment of the former Elaine Norris Centre were granted approval after an appeal last year.

Applicant Kersh Worral appealed against the non-determination of its plans, which Liverpool City Council said it would have refused, and was successful.

Now, Westchurch Homes is taking the site forward and seeking to deliver one-, two-, three-, and four-bed homes on a range of affordable tenures.

MCK Architects is advising on design and Pegasus is the planning consultant. To find out more search for 25F/2526 reference number on Liverpool City Council’s planning portal.
