230-acre Cumbrian farmland on the market

H&H Land Estates has placed a guide price of £1.5m for the freehold for Sleetback Farm, located off Roadhead in Carlisle.

The 230-acre farm includes a grade two-listed farmhouse and a series of stone outbuildings. The farm is currently a stock-rearing farm but was previously a dairy farm.

H&H Land Estates has divided the farm into three lots which can be bought together or a la carte.

The farmhouse and 77 acres make up lot one. Most of the land is sown down to grass and in good condition. The lot also includes a large garden with trees and a henhouse, and the various outbuildings. The guide price for lot one is £830,000.

The second lot is 60 acres and is largely grazing land. Within this lot are four fields, two of which are restricted for agricultural use only. These restricted fields make up half of the acreage of the lot. The guide price for lot two is £270,000.

The final lot is nearly 96 acres and comprises grazing land and woodland. The guide price for this third lot is £400,000.
