Worsley industrial plot sold at Eddisons auction
An industrial investment in Worsley has been bought at the latest Eddisons property auction for £500,000.
The units at Priestley Point in the Wardley Industrial Estate occupy a site of around 2.3-acres and are let to two tenants, producing annual rent of £65,000.
Other highlights of the auction at the Premier Inn in Trafford Park included a vacant former nursery premises in the Bootle area of Liverpool. The property on Pembroke Road had been offered on the instructions of the joint LPA receivers at a guide of £125,000 and achieved £180,000.
A part-tenanted commercial and residential investment on Euston Road in Morecambe, producing £38,260 each year, sold for £250,000.
Meanwhile, a vacant two/three bedroom flat in the Eccles area of Manchester guided at £35,000 plus, sold for £47,000.
At its North West sale Eddisons sold 19 lots and generated income of £1.7m. The Manchester event was part of a three day sale which also included dates in Leeds and London. In total 52 lots sold, with overall proceeds exceeding £5m.
The last Eddisons auction of the year in the North West will take place on 9 December in Manchester.
