Worsley cottage among December auction lots

A cottage adjacent to Worsley Woods in Salford is among the lots to be offered for sale at the Edward Mellor and Roger Hannah auction on 11 December.

The three-bedroom cottage in Mill Brow, Worsley, has a guide price of £175,000.

Other lots include a 16-bedroom former HMO set off the seafront in Morecambe and being offered with a guide price of £50,000.

Louise McDonald, auction director at Edward Mellor, said: "We have plenty of traditional auction lots with prices are low as £15,000, which is no great surprise because this is what we have built our reputation on."

The auction will take place at The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Old Trafford, Manchester. Registration opens at 1pm, with the sale starting at 2pm.
