Wirral auctioneer offers ‘bargains’ at next sale
Smiths & Sons has 23 lots going under the hammer in Bromborough next Wednesday.
A 0.6 acre site, formerly home to The Great Eastern Public House, situated at the junction of New Ferry Road and Shorefields in New Ferry is available at a guide price of £240,000-£250,000, with planning permission for ten semi-detached houses.
Elsewhere, a 1.2-acre site off Coalpit Lane in Mollington in Chester is available at a guide price of £60,000-£70,000, which has been used for storage and retail purposes in the past.
Chris Johnson, auctioneer for Smith & Sons, said: "There are some real bargains to be had with several properties available from between £10,000 and £50,000 making them an ideal purchase either for first time buyers or investors."
The most expensive is a vacant Wirral property located on 2 Gerald Road in Oxton, with a guide price of £350,000-£400,000.
The property was previously occupied by Abbeyfield as a residential home with ten resident's rooms.
Johnson added: "The lots on offer at the forthcoming auction present a range of opportunities for different types of investors looking to develop, refurbish and let or sell on, as well as those looking to get on the housing ladder."
The Smith & Sons auction is being held at the Village Hotel in Bromborough on 8 September.
