VIDEO | One City Place construction at halfway mark
Muse Developments has released a time-lapse video showing the progress of work on One City Place, a six-storey office development in Chester's £100m Central Business Quarter.
The video marks the halfway point in construction of the 70,000 sq ft office near to Chester Railway Station, which is due for completion in November 2015.
The video showcases some of the milestones on site including the first ground being broken in June 2014 through to the recent completion of the central core from which the steel framework will be hung.
Work has also started on remodelling part of the grade two-listed Chester Railway Station building and former rail car park to create a new landscaped attractive public realm area and gateway from the station into the Central Business Quarter.
One City Place is being developed speculatively and represents the first of seven buildings which could accommodate a total of about 3,500 people by 2028.
Seddon is the contractor on the scheme.
