Uniform supplier moves into 7,500 sq ft at Aintree industrial

Florence Roby has signed a 10-year lease on Unit 6B at Mersey Reach logistics park off Dunnings Bridge Road.

The firm, which supplies luxury work uniforms for the beauty, spa, hotel, and medical industries, has taken up the 7,500 sq ft unit for an undisclosed sum.

Each unit at Mersey Reach has an EPC B rating, providing natural lighting and insulated cladding as well as electric vehicle charging points.

Developer Chancerygate is behind the £20m Aintree logistics park, which has been acquired by landlord Northern Urban Logistics.

Triton Construction completed the second and final phase of the development last May to deliver a total of 215,000 sq ft of industrial space.

Mersey Reach is now 92% occupied, with Florence Roby joining the likes of Selco Builders Warehouse, Hardy, Happy Drinks, CNC Robotics, Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, and TF Solutions.

JLL and B8 Real Estate are the joint agents for Mersey Reach. LM6 advised Florence Roby on the deal.

Thomas Marriott, surveyor at B8 Real Estate noted that mid-box industrial take up in the first half of this year stood at 580,000 sq ft across 29 transactions in the North West. This was a 6% increase from the first half of last year.

“Occupier sentiment remains strong that require good quality second hand or modern new build.

“With the current levels of high demand, take-up for this sub-sector is expected to be ahead of the five-year average, albeit good quality availability is diminishing.”

Iain Taylor, director at Northwood, echoed that there is a “significant lack of availability of good quality industrial premises” within Liverpool City Region.
