Two lettings at Trio
Two companies have taken 115,000 sq ft at Zurich Assurance's Trio in Knowsley Industrial Park.
Hermes Parcelnet has taken Unit 1 totalling 47,000 sq ft and distribution company PDS has taken Unit 3 totalling 68,000 sq ft. Both are on 10-year leases.
Only Unit 2 totalling 43,535 sq ft remains available, with the landlord due to commence refurbishment shortly.
PDS has relocated from Wigan, while Hermes will use the site to operate a parcel distribution centre to cover the Liverpool city region.
B8 Real Estate and JLL acted on behalf of Zurich. PDS was advised by Savills. Hermes was represented in-house.
Howard George, partner of B8 Real Estate, said: "Both parties were attracted by the quality of the accommodation and the communications within the region. Both companies are new to the area and will be making significant investment."
