TGG takes 13,800 sq ft in Altrincham
The creative marketing agency will relocate its headquarters to Bruntwood’s Foundation, taking the whole of the third floor, and leaving a final 3,000 sq ft unit up for grabs.
The Genius Group’s staff will relocate from Broadheath a mile away to 13,800 sq ft at Foundation. The firm will benefit from a dedicated wellness studio with showers, changing rooms, and vanity areas, which the company claims will “encourage balance and self-care during the workday”.
Chris Niebel, founder and director, TGG, added: “In an industry where creativity and innovation are vital to success, it’s essential that we offer our team an environment that supports and enhances those strengths.
“Foundations’ dynamic space perfectly complements our fast-paced way of working, and we truly believe we’ve found a home for our business that will foster growth, spark creativity, and drive innovation.”
According to the company, TGG invests more than £10m each month into digital advertising and technology and has hit over £2bn in client sales in the last three years.
Bruntwood’s Foundation is the product of the converted 75,000 sq ft Rackhams department store in the town’s Stamford Quarter and is recognisable for its 4,000 sq ft ‘living wall’ which faces Altrincham Interchange.
Sharon Johnson, head of commercial at Bruntwood, welcomed TGG, saying the letting “adds to the dynamic mix” of businesses at the site and is a “strong endorsement” of Foundation’s reputation.
Other tenants at Foundation include video game start-up ForthStar and marketing agency SportFive, as well as commercial offers Nell’s and Lane7.
Foundation is part of the wider Stamford Quarter regeneration, kicked off when a joint venture between Bruntwood and Trafford Council acquired the entire 370,000 sq ft Stamford Quarter shopping centre in 2019, bringing almost all of Altrincham town centre under Trafford Council’s control.
Savills and CBRE are the retained agents for Foundation.
