The housebuilder has been granted planning permission for 180 homes at a site near Chester.
The development on Oakmere Road will be the first phase of a wider scheme which will see the construction of 475 homes.
The site is on the edge of the urban area in Winsford with access to a range of shops, services and public transport.
How Planning acted on behalf of Taylor Wimpey.
Chris Sinton, planner at How Planning, said: "Taylor Wimpey has considerable expertise in delivering high quality residential developments throughout the North West and is once again committed to creating a lasting, sustainable community which will benefit Winsford."
The homes are two miles away from winsford and about 17 miles from Chester. So no where near Chester.
