Stone Cross speculative warehouse completed
Stoford Developments and Oxenwood Real Estate have completed construction of a 72,000 sq ft speculative industrial unit in Warrington.
Stone Cross 72 was built by GMI Construction, and is located on the site of the former Carlsberg brewery depot at Yew Tree Way, Goldborne.
The unit includes 5,000 sq ft of offices and 52 car parking spaces, 50m yard depth and six dock level loading doors.
Stone Cross 72 is the second phase of the Stone Cross Park scheme. Stoford and Oxenwood Real Estate sold the existing 126,000 sq ft logistics facility to global packaging firm, ALPLA, last year.
Tony Nash, director of Stoford Developments, said: “Stone Cross 72 is a high-quality, speculatively-developed unit, ready for immediate occupation. The warehouse lies within a prime and established logistics location that is well connected to the M6 and M62 corridors and houses internationally-renowned occupiers.”
Stone Cross Park is located six miles to the south of Wigan.
Gerald Eve, M1 Agency and DTRE are joint agents for the site.
