Stanley pushes on with second phase of St Helens resi

Work on the 168-home first phase of the developer’s Lancots Lane scheme is underway and plans for another 32 residences and 55,000 sq ft of industrial space have now been drawn up.

Stanley Investments has submitted proposals for the second phase of its St Helens masterplan to the local council.

The development builds on the £28m first phase, which was approved in January and is being delivered in partnership with Torus.

The latest phase of the scheme will provide 32 two-, three-, and four-bedroom houses on two acres of the wider five-acre Lancots Lane site, which incorporates the former Hays Chemical Works.

In addition, Stanley Investments wants to extend the industrial buildings already on the site by more than 500%, adding 55,000 sq ft.

MPSL is advising on design and Hive Land and Planning is advising on planning matters.
