Solar panel firm expands
The Green Electrician, an installer of photovoltaic systems, has signed a five-year lease on 6,000 sq ft with TI Midwood & Co for a new headquarters in Green Lane, Wardle, Cheshire.
Rupert Higgin, director of the Green Electrician, said: "This is a very exciting time for the Green Electrician. In just over a year we have grown steadily, taking on 26 new staff and introducing a fleet of four installation vehicles. The new offices and warehouse will help us to provide an efficient, high level service for all of our customers, past and present."
Higgin's team designs and installs both grid connected and stand-alone systems for residential, commercial and non-profit organisations.
Rupert Jackson, consultant and head of agriculture at Brabners Chaffe Street, who advised the Green Electrician on the deal, said: "Despite the tough market conditions this deal demonstrates that there is still a demand from occupiers for sensibly priced property."
Simon Midwood, director of TI Midwood & Co, who occupy the site next door, said: "This deal represents a significant letting in the Wardle area and proves that high quality buildings remain resilient in all economic conditions."
Alan Newell of Jolliffe & Co advised TI Midwood & Co.
