Skelton joins WHR

Former head of Lambert Smith Hampton in Manchester Peter Skelton is joining WHR Property Consultants, as a development advisor.

Skelton will be leading WHR's four-strong office agency team, and will also continue his advisory work for Nikal on the Altair scheme.

Skelton worked for LSH for 31 years, and moved into a part-time consultancy role in September 2013. His departure follows those of David Thwaites, head of office agency, who joined GVA in July 2013, and Mark Bamber, associate director of office agency, who left to go to Knight Frank in February 2014.

Meanwhile, WHR has also promoted four members of its team, with John Barton of industrial agency, Nick Heathcote of professional agency, Josh Levy in office agency and Alan Watson, project and building consultancy, all becoming associate partners.

WHR was founded in 2004 by six former LSH directors who quit together to set up the firm.
