Silke Gruner joins Iceni
The advisory firm has brought the specialist on board to head its new landscaping team.
Silke Gruner is a landscape architect, urban designer, and chartered member of the Landscape Institute. She has more than 16 years of experience in landscape planning and assessment, landscape design, and masterplanning.
She also has considerable experience in writing and giving evidence for planning appeals and public inquiries.
Iceni Projects now employs more than 110 staff with expertise in archaeology; design; heritage and townscape; impact management; futures; town planning; sustainable development, economics and transport planning.
Chief executive Ian Anderson said: “We have worked with Silke on multiple projects over many years, and know how much her clients trust her judgement on landscape issues.
“There is a logical crossover between her casework and that of our planning, heritage and townscape, and design teams, and we look forward to developing landscape as a discipline within Iceni.”
Gruner, who previously worked at CSA, said: “I am very excited to be bringing landscape design and planning services to Iceni. I have worked with the Iceni team on many schemes, and the new arrangement means that it will now be even easier and more convenient for clients, with Iceni continuing to expand its range of services on offer, all under one roof.”
