Seddon joins chamber’s green roster
Bolton-based Seddon Construction is among the first contractors confirmed on Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce's new low carbon supply and fit framework.
Through the four-year framework, Seddon will be approved to supply and install green technology for the Greater Manchester Chamber's 5,000 members. This will include rainwater harvesting systems, heat pumps and exchangers, biomass boilers and wind turbines as well as other low-carbon, energy-efficient building products and systems. The framework will enable members to draw on the technical expertise of experienced service providers and get maximum benefit from low-carbon incentive schemes such as the Green Deal.
Jonathan Seddon, managing director of Seddon Construction, said: "Environmentally friendly, low carbon working is a key part of our business strategy and we fully share the chamber's commitment to sustainable development."
A spokesman for the chamber said details of the other companies on the framework would be released in the coming weeks.
