Rochdale names new regeneration director

Rochdale Development Agency has appointed Pat Rattigan as director of physical regeneration.

Rattigan joins from Tameside council where he was assistant executive director of planning and economic development.

His main responsibilities will include promoting physical and economic regeneration, working alongside Rochdale council to attract investment, create new jobs and boost the local economy.

He will lead on attracting investment into priority regeneration areas, including the renaissance of Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton town centres and areas being improved under the Housing Market Renewal Initiative.
