Robertson agrees Place Partnership

One of the nation’s largest family-owned construction companies has started a 12-month marketing and business development campaign with Place North West.

The Scottish company has a North West base in Newton-le-Willows and has worked on a series of regional projects, including the £11m Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre North West in Preston and the £16m Tameside One.

“Over the last five years, Robertson Construction has built a strong presence in the North West, working with key customers and delivering quality projects,” said Dirk Pittaway, regional managing director at Robertson Construction North West.

“We have had the pleasure of delivering a number of significant projects and currently have almost £200m of live projects across the region,” Pittaway continued. “We are present on key regional and national frameworks including NWCH, P23, Clear Futures, Rise and Procure North West.

“As our business continues to grow, we will be seeking new members to join Team Robertson and continue to expand our customer base. Place North West is ideally positioned to assist us in highlighting the work that we are doing regionally. “

Robertsons’ custom agreement with Place North West includes:

  • Thought leadership content
  • Roundtables
  • Event sponsorship
  • Bespoke videos

Place North West commercial director Dino Moutsopoulos said he was “very pleased indeed” to agree a partner-level deal with Robertson.

“We met at MIPIM and I was very impressed with the jobs they were on and their ambition,” Moutsopoulos said.

“As the biggest contractor in Scotland, I look forward to helping them integrate more into the Northern market.
