Ridge hires CBRE to find new Liverpool office

Building consultant Ridge, which acquired Liverpool-based quantity surveying firm Walfords in the summer, has retained CB Richard Ellis to acquire a 3,500 sq ft office in the city.

The merged firm is currently based in 25 Castle Street in the business district. Ridge bought Walfords in July and pledged to keep its 30 employees on, taking the overall staff number to 280. Walford partners Jason Howard and John Huston became partners of Ridge.

No shortlist has yet been released for the Liverpool relocation.
