Priority Sites Liverpool boss leaves for Stockport council

Murray Carr, Merseyside area development manager for public-private developer Priority Sites, is leaving the business.

Carr ran the area office, recently relocated from Speke to Widnes, since it opened in 2006. He was previously senior development manager at Liverpool Land Development Company, and before that valuation services manager at Warrington council.

Carr is joining Stockport council's estates team. He leaves Priority Sites along with other development managers in Yorkshire and Cornwall as a result of the freeze applied to the development programme in the current market.

Bill Skilki, chief executive of Pirority Sites, will shortly relocate from the head office in Glasshoughton, Yorkshire, to the Widnes office on the developer's own Turnstone Business Park.

Carr's deputy, Phil Haslam, senior development manager, is staying with the company in the same Merseyside office.

Priority Sites has developed extensively around the Liverpool area in recent years, in Garston, Bootle, Aintree and Widnes. Priority Sites is a joint venture between Royal Bank of Scotland and the Homes & Communities Agency.
