Prime hands over 130,000 sq ft Knowsley industrial

4th Industrial forward funded the construction of the scheme, located at Acornfield Industrial Park.

Prime Property Group’s in-house construction team has handed over the 130,000 sq ft complex, having wrapped up the industrial project.

Work began last February and shortly afterwards, 4th Industrial acquired the development.

The project consists of three units: one that is 53,269 sq ft, another that is 47,453 sq ft and a third that is 31,482 sq ft.

Building Design Northern designed the warehouses, which are located off the main spine road that runs through Knowsley Industrial Estate.

Baber Majid, managing director of the Prime Group, said 4i’s purchase of Acornfield demonstrates the continued strength of the North West industrial market.

“The willingness to forward purchase speculative developments such as this demonstrates confidence in the future of Knowsley as an investment and employment location,” he said.

B8 and CBRE are joint lettings agents for Acornfield Industrial Park.

4i bought the 324,340 sq ft Walker Industrial Estate in Blackburn in December 2021.
