Plans in for 67 apartments in Warrington
Alderley Group is looking to create a social rent housing development overlooking the River Mersey.
The project includes the provision of 67 one- and two-bedroom apartments, along with a car park and gardens for residents on the 1.4 acre site. BTP designed the scheme.
Slated as the largest development in Alderley Group’s portfolio, the project on Howley Lane will be its seventh.
Alderley Group has teamed up again with Cheshire Planning Solutions to craft the application, with founder and chief executive Kevin Corish noting: “Cheshire Planning Solutions have supported us on the application of this project, as we continue to cement our relationship with them.”
He added: “Alderley Group are excited for the growth of our development portfolio once again.”
Manual Atkinson, director at BTP Architects, added: “This much-needed scheme will provide 67 new affordable social rent homes to Warrington.
“We’re really pleased that planning has now been submitted and are excited to see the project take shape.”
Complete Construction, Alderley Group’s in-house construction division, will carry out the work.
The structural engineer is Acies, while KGA is the engineering consultant. At the time of writing, the application has yet to be validated on Warrington Council’s planning portal.
