Plans in for 45 Wrexham homes

Pickstock Homes is seeking to deliver a mix of single- and two-storey houses on the greenfield land off St Mary’s Avenue in Overton.

The scheme would feature nine two-, 21 three-, and 14 four-bedroom properties on the five-acre Wrexham site.

Of the 45 homes, 14 would be affordable.

Each property would feature a private garden for residents to enjoy.

Lambert Smith Hampton is the scheme’s planning consultant.

Also on the project team is transport consultant Mode Transport, ecological consultant Arbor Vitae, and landscape architect LPM Landscape.

Planning documents address the pertinent environmental issue of phosphates, which can cause river pollution and have stalled progress on many local developments.

According to a report submitted by environmental consultant ADAS on behalf of the developer, the site is not currently failing its phosphate levels and strict phosphate neutrality does not need to be achieved for this development.
