Place and Baker Mallett tackle homelessness at Football Museum
Vincent Kompany and Andy Burnham’s TACKLE4MCR charity will be the beneficiary of a special fundraising party on Thursday 23 May, organised by Place North West in conjunction with Baker Mallett.
Baker Mallett was part of the team that built the original Wembley Stadium in 1923, and is using its 100th anniversary in 2019 to return to its football roots, raising money at a lively evening of networking and entertainment from 6pm until midnight, at the National Football Museum.
There are set to be more than 150 attendees, with a portion of all ticket sales going to support the charity set up by Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany and the Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham, to address rough sleeping and homelessness.

Companies already attending include WSP, Progressive Living, Gariff Construction, Studio OL3, Hightown Construction, and Whitfield & Brown Developments.
Alongside music from band The Fiction and Place’s favourite DJ Nick, all guests will be entered into a raffle with chances to win prizes including tickets to the TACKLE4MCR testimonial match, a signed shirt from Vincent Kompany, an overnight stay at the Principal Hotel, a meal for two at Sam’s Chop House and dinner at Fazenda.
Tickets are £65 +VAT and include drinks, food, entertainment and a charity donation.
