Pinsents appoints Overbury for Spinningfields fit-out
Morgan Sindall subsidiary Overbury has won a 16-week contract to fit out the new 35,000 sq ft office at 3 Hardman Street, in Manchester city centre, for law firm Pinsent Masons.
Pinsents signed with developer Allied London for the 11th and 12th floors at the end of 2007 and worked up detailed interior designs with HKR Architects. Overbury and Pinsents declined to give a value for the contract. Pinsents hopes to take occupation in June.
Mark Job, partner and UK head of transactional construction business at Pinsents, said the new, mainly open-plan office was designed to be as flexible and efficient as possible for clients. Half of one floor will be a client meeting room suite, whilst the 'working' floors will be dotted with small and large cellular areas for staff meetings and break-out spaces.
The Sheppard Robson-designed 350,000 sq ft office building is nearly fully let. Other occupiers will include Bank of New York Mellon and serviced office operator Regus.
DTZ and Jones Lang LaSalle are joint letting agents on Spinningfields.
