Piccadilly Place welcomes Pita Pit
The Carlyle Group has signed a deal with fast food franchise Pita Pit to open at Piccadilly Place in Manchester.
Pita Pit will offer customers "a wide selection of chef-inspired vegetarian and meat pita wraps as well as all-day breakfast pitas grilled-to-order with the customer's choice of fillings and toppings in minutes."
Altrincham-based franchise company Sim Trava Pita will bring Pita Pit to the UK for the first time. Pita Pit was founded in Canada in 1995 and has 430 branches around the world.
Sim Trava owners Simon and Tracy Vardy operate 17 Costa Coffee stores under a franchisee partnership with Whitbread.
The new 1,614 sq ft outlet next to Starbucks at Piccadilly Place is due to open in October.
