Pell Frischmann grows regional team
After establishing a Manchester office last summer, consultant Pell Frischmann has added eight staff to its team to deliver highways, transport, and infrastructure services in the North West.
Heading up the team is Matthew Davies, who formerly led the infrastructure, highways, and transport team at WYG until July last year.
He has been followed by five highways and transport specialists: James Walsh, Petina Mthunzi, Matthew Willis, Andrew Hall, and Charlie Ebbrell.
Walsh, Hall, Ebbrell and Willis also joined from WYG, while the company has also added Phil Clarke as a graduate engineer and Cameron Rabett as an apprentice technician.
Based in Stockport, there are plans to expand the business in 2019 with Davies targeting a staff of around 20 people by the end of the year.
Projects the team is working on including the Horwich Loco Works, and Transport for Greater Manchester’s consultancy framework. It is also working with clients including Homes England and Blackpool Council.
The consultant has eight offices in the UK, primarily in the south, and the Manchester office is its ninth, and its second in the North of England along with its Wakefield office. It also has an office in Abu Dhabi.
Opening the Manchester office represents a return to the North West for the company, which formerly had sites in Warrington and Manchester city centre.
Davies said: “The next twenty years will be an exciting, challenging time for North West England as we work to capitalise on increasingly diverse infrastructure in the region.
“The best engineering involves in-depth collaboration with others and requires local insight that only comes from working locally. So, we are very pleased to have already been appointed some incredibly talented people here. The growth of the Pell Frischmann North West team is expected to continue throughout 2019.”
A milestone worthy of celebration, well done!
Looking forward to supporting the team and delivering the transportation infrastructure that the North of England needs and deserves
