Peel lodges plans for 200 homes in Hollins Green
The third of three applications for a combined 460 homes across the borough is now with the local council’s planning team for consideration.
Peel Land has lodged plans for 200 homes on a 26-acre Green Belt site off next to Holly Bank Caravan Park and the Manchester Ship Canal in Hollins Green.
The landowner claims the site meets the criteria for Grey Belt and would preserve 10 acres of the site as open space. The development also features plans for 90 affordable homes.
Matthew Stafford, associate director, Peel Land said: “While delivering much needed new homes to the area, Hollins Green will enhance the currently underutilised green spaces in and around the scheme making it a highly attractive dwelling for its future residents.
“We appreciated the feedback during the consultation process and now pleased to be moving forward with these plans.”
Peel Land has also recently submitted plans for 60 homes in Lymm and another 200 on 20.5 acres at Turret Hall Farm, north of Lord Street in Croft.
Turley, Randell Thorp, e3p, Chroma, I-Transport, Curtins, Iceni, and Walsingham make up the project team.
