Northgate offers finder’s fee to dispose of office

Software firm Northgate Information Solutions has retained Edward Symmons to sub-let its office in Birchwood and has offered to pay an agent £5,000 for introducing a tenant.
The Alderley Edge-based company no longer requires the 4,200 sq ft Dewhurst Road office, on which it has a 15-year lease from February 2003, with a break in 2013.
The rent is £58,296 a year with the February 2008 rent review outstanding. The rent equates to £14/sq ft but Northgate would accept £9.50/sq ft in the first two years of a new tenant's lease.
