Nikal’s Moffat wins national office award

John Moffat, development surveyor at Manchester-based developer Nikal, has won the office achievement award at the inaugural 1st Friday Property Awards.

Held at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in London last week, the awards were presented by Giles Barrie, editor of Property Week.

Judged by a panel of eight senior industry figures, Moffat beat other professionals to secure the award for his contribution to Nikal's MyBuro scheme in Altrincham.

The office complex, which opened earlier this year, provides growing businesses the chance to buy their own individual 'boutique-style' office at an affordable cost. Moffat has the task of securing new premises across the country to expand the MyBuro brand.

Moffat said: "It's always nice to be recognised for the work you do but to win a national award, judged by leading industry figures, is really fantastic. Especially as the calibre of those shortlisted was so high."
