NHS trusts set up regional construction framework

A construction contract roster is being established for the next two years by 51 NHS trusts under the NHS North West Collaborative Procurement Hub.
The framework will be used to deliver capital improvement projects to build new hospitals and extend or modify existing premises.
The tender calls for companies or teams to apply for all aspects of the work, across six lots; project management, civil and structural engineering, architecture, cost advice, mechanical and electrical engineering, and CDM Coordinator Services.
Between five and eight firms or consortia will be appointed.
The deadline for submitting tenders is 15 May.
