NHS trust renews framework

Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust is to appoint a panel of consultants to handle its construction programme for the next four years.
The panel will cover the following disciplines:
- Architecture
- Mechanical and electrical design
- Project management
- Quantity surveying, cost management services
- Structural engineering
- Building services
- Planning services
- Clerk of works services
- NEC contract supervisor
- CDM services
There will be two lots, one for capital projects with a value of less than £10m – in fact the majority of projects will be less than £500,000, with the potential for around 20 such schemes a year. The second will be for projects with a value of more than £10m, of which there will be a maximum of three in the next four years.
The trust will appoint between four and 15 suppliers. The closing date for expressions of interest is 2 August. Capita Symonds advises the trust.
