Wrekin Construction awarded Halton bridges contract

Wrekin Construction has gained a contract to work in partnership with Halton Council for maintenance on all bridges in the borough.

The contract awarded includes management, delivery and maintenance works including, but not restricted to, strengthening and general improvement works for the Silver Jubilee Bridge Complex.

Halton Council received a total of six offers for the contract, which is being awarded on 2 February.

RAAC has been found in 234 schools across the country, leading the government to commit to rebuilding or refurbishing at least one block in 119 institutions – with the other 110 to receive grants to fund the removal of reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete.
