Swinton warehouse changes hands for £4.5m

Advised by BC Real Estate, The Roydon Group has bought a 126,000 sq ft unit at Junction Eco Business Park in Swinton.

The building sits on the 24-acre business park and is currently occupied by Royton, a recycling group. The company has acquired it off-market with a plan for further investment in the facility.

The vendor Welden was advised by Brackenridge Hanson Tate on the deal.

John Barton, partner at BC Real Estate, said: “Roydon had already been operating from this building for some time but felt that the time was right to now purchase the property.

“We approached the landlord and were able to quickly negotiate a deal that suited both parties. This acquisition will allow Roydon to invest further in the existing facility as the business continues to grow and even expand in the future.”

Other tenants at the business park include Sentinel Security Services, Broomwood estates, and Adam Kluj Transport Services.
