Utilities service provider O’Connor Facilities has bought the three-storey office building from Pentith Property for £1.75m.
The 12,300 sq ft office on Greek Street will be fully occupied by O’Connor Facilities once the sale completes, as part of its expansion plans.
Artemis House is located in Stockport town centre, 0.8 miles from junction one of the M60, and close to Stockport railway station.
Previous occupiers have included Stagecoach, Music Magpie, Booth Ainsworth, SAS Daniels, but the building is currently empty following a refurbishment.
Joint agents Avison Young and MBRE have been marketing the property for let on a ‘full repairing and insuring’ lease, in which the tenant takes on all of the costs for repairs and insurance for the property being leased from the landlord.
However, the marketing brochure noted that “consideration may be given to selling the freehold”.

Stockport Council is leading several town centre regeneration projects, including a revamp of the 55-year-old Merseyway shopping centre and the Stockport Interchange redevelopment of the town’s bus station, as well as a mixed-use scheme surrounding the railway station.
