Rumford signs Jacksons at Chapel Street
Accountancy firm Jackson UK LLP has moved into Rumford Investments' 20 Chapel Street office building in Liverpool.
Jackson UK LLP has taken a lease on 3,165 sq ft on the second floor of the building having relocated from Orleans House in Edmund Street.
Formerly known as Hurst (Liverpool) LLP, Jacksons joins existing occupiers Bank of Ireland, Barclay's Wealth and Barclay's Commercial, Broadway Malyan, Ernst & Young and Panmure Gordon at the waterfront office building.
Alastair Newman, commercial marketing consultant for 20 Chapel Street said: "Jackson UK LLP is yet another prestigious name to move into 20 Chapel Street and we are pleased to welcome them to the building. We were able to demonstrate how responsively we can make a deal happen, accommodating the practice within a week of the terms being agreed. Works have involved sub-dividing the floor and services, whilst the occupier fit out was taking place."
Newman continued: "Despite the recession we have noticed an increase in market interest and hope to make further letting announcements in the near future."
Situated within Liverpool's World Heritage Site, Rumford Investment's 16-storey RIBA award-winning tower contains 150,000 sq ft of Grade A office space.
Rumford Investments was advised by letting agents Hitchcock, Wright & Partners and DTZ.
