An application is due to be submitted at the end of the summer for 650 homes in Salford, designed by Fletcher Rae Architects, the latest in a series of large-scale residential plans in progress around the city.
Warrington-based Vivere Group, the development arm of Bilt Group, is behind the scheme on the site of the derelict Wellington Hotel.
The development, known as City View, will be made up of three towers of 27, 18 and 16 storeys, alongside 25 three-storey townhouses.
Targeted at investment buyers, the buildings will include concierge facilities, residents’ gym and lounge, around a central piazza.
According to the consultation website, the developer has worked with Salford City Council on the proposals at two pre-application meetings, and the plans have been presented to the Places Matter! design review panel.
Indigo Planning is advising on the application.
