Plans in for Airport City South spec shed

A joint venture between MAG Property and Stoford has submitted a planning application for a 260,000 sq ft speculative logistics unit at Airport City Manchester.

Stoford is working on behalf of an international investor to develop an 11-acre plot at Airport City South, creating a logistics warehouse next to Manchester Airport's existing cargo centre.

The scheme is understood to be targeted at third party logistics occupiers. Subject to planning permission, the project is expected to be on site in the first quarter of 2015.

Webb Gray & Partners designed the warehouse.

MAG Property already has outline planning permission for the development of 1.4m sq ft of logistics space and 36.6-acres of landscaping at Airport City South.

CBRE and JLL are the joint agents at Airport City.
