Outwood Wharf phase two brought to market

The second phase of Outwood Wharf in Salford, including three blocks of 23, 10, and eight storeys with 296 apartments, is up for sale.

After securing planning permission for the IBI-designed project in November last year, the project’s developer, Outwood Wharf Developments II, has instructed CBRE to bring the site to market.

The project on Chapel Street also includes 4,000 sq ft of commercial space at ground-floor level. According to Companies House, the special-purpose vehicle developer lists Jonathan Gwynne and Kevin Lagan as directors.

The first phase of Outwood Wharf was completed by contractor H&J Martin in summer 2019.

The 263-bed build-to-rent apartment scheme, funded by Invesco and brought forward by another Outwood Developments SPV, started on site in 2017 but work slowed in February after the scheme’s previous contractor entered administration.
