Liverpool restaurant group opens latest outlet

Red & Blue Restaurants has opened its third Liverpool venue, Salthouse Bacaro in Equity & Law House in Castle Street, after agreeing a lease with landlord Merseyside Estates.

Red & Blue Restaurants already operates Hanover Street Social and Salt House Tapas in Liverpool One.

The 2,500 sq ft Castle Street outlet was formerly home to the Blue Arrow office and was taken by Red & Blue Restaurants on a 20-year lease.

Jason Wadeson, partner at Smith & Sons, letting agent, said: "This is a fantastic letting and demonstrates the true versatility of a historic property such as Equity & Law House. Red & Blue Restaurants is now underway with its latest venture which I'm sure will be an immense success."

The building, owned by Merseyside Estates, sits over six floors with floors one and two already occupied and floors three, four and five still available.
