Le Bateau for sale at £180k
Liverpool nightclub Le Bateau is being offered for sale by Sanderson Weatherall with a guide price of £180,000 after falling into administration.
The club on Duke Street in the Ropewalks area closed in April after more than 20 years. Sanderson Weatherall in Manchester, acting on behalf of administrators Begbies Traynor, has put the 6,593 sq ft four-storey building in the catalogue for the next Sutton Kersh auction on 22 May.
The freehold property features a basement nightclub for about 425 people and a separate ground floor club which can accommodate some 220 people. There are also first floor offices and an unused second floor.
Rory Dillon, corporate services surveyor at Sanderson Weatherall, said: "The property offers a great opportunity to either re-open as a late night venue or offers scope for conversion to a commercial/residential scheme."
