Lancashire Police plans headquarters extension

Lancashire Constabulary is inviting construction project management companies to tender for works at its headquarters.

The contract will include internal alterations and an extension to an existing building on the site at Hutton, Preston.

Work is expected to start in the summer and be completed within 12 months.

Closing date for return of pre-qualification questionnaires is Friday 30 January.

Work will begin this summer on the two-storey Ashton Park complex off Pedders Lane, with a view to completion next year.

EG Group’s Whalley Banks facility off King Street in the town will have a major revamp, which will see the introduction of EV charging points.
