Investment manager relocates to 20 Chapel Street
Griffiths & Armour, subsidiary of stockbroking group Charles Stanley, has taken an initial 7,600 sq ft of offices with an option to expand at Rumford's 20 Chapel Street in central Liverpool.
Charles Stanley acquired Liverpool-based Griffiths & Armour Financial Services in 2008. The subsidiary will relocate from Water Street to the first floor of 20 Chapel Street.
Rumford Investments has let 42,000 sq ft at 20 Chapel Street this year in a series of heavily discounted deals befitting the depressed market. Liverpool Football Club was the largest deal at the building this year, taking nearly 30,000 sq ft for its commercial operations.
Fit-out is already underway by Denton Associates at Griffiths & Armour's new office, which will accommodate the 45 staff and be headed by managing director Paul McGuckin.
William Coleman, marketing manager for Rumford Investments, said further lettings would be announced "in the very near future".
The agents on the scheme are Mason Owen, Hitchcock, Wright & Partners and DTZ.
